BURGLARY

A Toro 18-inch Power Clear snowblower, cordless drill, black circular saw, two Mr. Heater Big Buddy heaters and one Mr. Heater Hero electric/battery heater, valued at $1,390, were stolen from an unlocked garage in the 8200 block of South 100th Street between 11 p.m. Jan. 29 and 10:30 a.m. Jan. 30.

THEFT

A 35-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for shoplifting after he was seen stealing Gillette razor blade cartridges at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 10 p.m. Jan. 24.

A resident in the 3300 block of West College Avenue reported his wallet was stolen on Jan. 25 and his debit card was fraudulently used.

An 18-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting men's underwear and other items at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 4:45 p.m. Jan. 26. He was also cited for disorderly conduct for pushing security personnel who were trying to stop him from leaving the store.

The manager at Walgreens, 7130 S. 76th St., reported two suspects stole four bottles of weight loss tablets, valued at $70 each, by taking them out of packaging and hiding them in a purse between 12:30 p.m. and 12:36 p.m. Jan. 27. The suspects, described as a Hispanic male and female, were seen in the store at 1:20 p.m. Jan. 30 but fled before police arrived.

License plate registration stickers were stolen off vehicles parked at a residence in the 8300 block of South Tuckaway Shores Drive prior to 4 p.m. Jan. 27.

A 28-year-old Greendale woman was arrested for shoplifting DVDs and pajamas, valued at $84, at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 4:45 p.m. Jan. 27.

An employee at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., reported she lost her credit card in the store prior to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 25, and the card was fraudulently used prior to reporting it stolen.

A resident in the 6400 block of South 118th Street reported someone used her name and Social Security number in Florida to purchase AT&T DSL Internet service from June 2011 to January 2012 for $149.

Two pieces of outgoing mail were stolen from a residential mailbox in the 5200 block of West Princeton Drive between 7:30 and 9 a.m. Jan. 28. Missing are a bill with payment and a personal check.

A cased 9mm handgun, prescription drugs (Oxycodone and Amitriptyline) and medical documents were stolen from a room at the Travelers Motel, 9419 S. 27th St., between 10 and 10:45 a.m. Jan. 28. Police are seeking a 23-year-old woman and a 33-year-old man in connection with the theft.

An employee reported her credit card was stolen while she was working at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th Street, on Jan. 28, and multiple fraudulent transactions were made prior to reporting the card stolen.

Two male suspects stole a cell phone from a store display at AT&T, 6503 S. 27th St., at 4 p.m. Jan. 29. The suspects, described as two black males, 20-25 years old and wearing black pants and hooded sweatshirts, fled the scene in a gray, four-door sedan.

A computer was stolen from a car in the 8200 block of South Lovers Lane Road between the evening hours of Jan. 29 and 7 a.m. Jan. 30.

A 300-pound, four-foot squared exhaust fan, valued at $1,000, was stolen from a construction site at Baptista's Bakery, 4625 W. Oakwood Park Drive, between 3:30 p.m. Jan. 27 and 8 a.m. Jan. 30.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 28-year-old South Milwaukee woman and a 22-year-old man were cited for possession of drug paraphernalia after they were arrested for shoplifting at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 8:23 p.m. Jan. 25.

A 19-year-old Franklin man was arrested and taken into custody for possession of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver and keeper of a drug house in the 4600 block of West Rawson Avenue at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 26.

A 17-year-old Franklin boy was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia at Franklin High School, 8222 S. 51st St., at 1:10 p.m. Jan. 27.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 42-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving and failure to yield for an officer in the 6600 block of Whitnall Edge Road at 11:10 p.m. Jan. 24. His blood alcohol content was unavailable.

A 34-year-old Germantown man was arrested for drunken driving (fourth offense) in the 6000 block of West Ryan Road at 3:42 a.m. Jan. 26. He was also cited for resisting arrest and implied consent refusal. The suspect later provided a chemical test of his blood, the results of which were unavailable at the time of the report.

VANDALISM

A car was scratched in the 9300 block of South Sherwood Drive between 7 p.m. Jan. 28 and 2:42 a.m. Jan. 29. Police are following up with a possible suspect.

OTHER

A 45-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for loitering/prowling after he was seen entering and rummaging through unlocked vehicles belonging to private citizens (not for sale) at Ewald, 6319 S. 108th St., at 1:15 p.m. Jan. 29. He was also cited for operating a vehicle while suspended.

FIRE

Police and fire officials evacuated residents of an apartment building in the 6800 block of West Kathleen Court due to a gas leak in a furnace shortly after 6 p.m. Jan. 30. Utilities in the building were turned off by the gas company until the leak could be fixed.

Franklin police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with one rescue call and one fire call between Jan. 23 and Jan. 30.
