BURGLARY

Jewelry, a laptop computer, camcorder, digital camera, netbook, and two video game systems, all with a combined value of $14,000, were taken from a residence in the 7100 block of West Brunn Drive between 1 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 31. A window was broken for entry.

THEFT

A 33-year-old South Milwaukee man was arrested at 12:08 a.m. Jan. 31 for theft of a firearm and other property that occurred on Jan. 28 at the Skyway Motel, 8361 S. 27th St.

Rims and tailgates from five trucks were taken at Milwaukee Pre-Owned, 8341 S. 27th St., between 6 p.m. Jan. 31 and 9 a.m. Feb. 1.

A 24-year-old woman and a 29-year-old man, both of Cudahy, were arrested for stealing a credit card from a 48-year-old woman on Jan. 28 at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., and using the card to make fraudulent purchases.

An employee reported her credit card was taken while she was working at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th Street, on Jan. 28, and multiple fraudulent transactions were made.

A 24-year-old New Berlin man was arrested for shoplifting after he placed $649 worth of alcohol into cloth bags and fled without paying at Pick 'n Save, 7201 S. 76th St., at 8:32 p.m. Feb. 2.

A 39-year-old South Milwaukee woman was arrested for shoplifting women's clothing, valued at $35, at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 2:15 p.m. Feb. 3.

A fuel tank was taken from a construction site in the 10100 block of South 92nd Street between Feb. 3 and Feb. 4.

A 27-year-old Stoughton woman was arrested for shoplifting clothing and food items at Walmart, 6701 S. 27th St., at 6:43 p.m. Feb. 6. She was also taken into custody for having three open warrants for theft through the West Allis and Oconomowoc police departments.

DRUG POSSESSION

A 39-year-old Waterford man was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia after a police dog located two crack pipes in his vehicle during a traffic stop in the 6800 block of South Lovers Lane Road at 2:27 a.m. Feb. 2. The suspect then admitted to police he was on his way to purchase crack cocaine.

A 20-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for possession of marijuana in the parking lot at Pick 'n Save, 7780 S. Lovers Lane Road, at 12:52 p.m. Feb. 5.

DRUNKEN DRIVING

A 25-year-old Greenfield woman was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, and cited for driving with prohibited alcohol concentration in the 11400 block of West Carroll Circle at 2:35 a.m. Feb. 1. Her blood alcohol content level was 0.18.

A 42-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for drunken driving, fifth offense, and cited for operating after revocation, failure to yield to an emergency vehicle and suspended registration in the 9800 block of West St. Martins Road at 7:35 p.m. Jan. 4. The suspect refused sobriety/breath testing; he was conveyed to the hospital for a blood draw, the results of which were unavailable.

A 39-year-old Franklin man was arrested for drunken driving, second offense, after police pulled him over for running a red light in the 7700 block of South 27th Street at 1:45 a.m. Feb. 5. He was also cited for driving with prohibited alcohol concentration and violation of a red light. His BAC was 0.18.

A 29-year-old Muskego woman was arrested for drunken driving and cited for prohibited alcohol concentration and deviation from designated lane in the 6500 block of South Lovers Lane Road at 2:37 a.m. Feb. 5. Her BAC was 0.22.

VANDALISM

A vehicle was scratched with a key in the 10500 block of West Cortez Circle between the late evening hours of Feb. 3 and noon Feb. 4.

OTHER

A 17-year-old girl was arrested and cited for obstructing in the 3900 block of West Heatheridge Drive at 7:15 p.m. Feb. 1. The girl was taken into custody after she called the Franklin Police Department, identified herself as the mother of a 15-year-old boy, and excused him from attending his court date on Feb. 1.

A resident in the 12200 block of West McShane Road reported having an "aggressive" rooster in their yard at 7:15 a.m. Feb. 3. A neighbor agreed to try to trap the rooster, and MADAC sent someone to the residence to pick up the rooster.

A 29-year-old Milwaukee man was arrested for having an open warrant with the Greenfield Police Department after he tried to purchase a handgun at Gander Mountain, 6939 S. Riverwood Blvd., at 1:40 p.m. Jan. 4.

A 20-year-old Green Bay woman was arrested for disorderly conduct, obstructing police, after she became belligerent and uncooperative while talking with an officer in the parking lot at Pick 'n Save, 7780 S. Lovers Lane Road, at 11:19 a.m. Feb. 5. She was also cited for operating after revocation and suspended registration, and given a 10-day ticket for no proof of insurance.

A 17-year-old Franklin boy was arrested for disorderly conduct after he became highly intoxicated (0.13 BAC) and began yelling obscenities outside a residence in the 4000 block of West College Avenue at 9:20 p.m. Feb. 6. He was also taken into custody for bail jumping and for having a valid outstanding warrant through the Greendale Police Department.

FIRE

Firefighters and police responded to car fire in the 4600 block of West Sharon Lane at 10:25 p.m. Jan. 31. The car started on fire approximately five minutes after the owner parked it in the driveway. The fire was quickly extinguished; no cause for the fire was stated on the police report.

Franklin police responded to two domestic violence calls and assisted with one rescue call and two fire calls between Jan. 31 and Feb. 6.
